Event Overview

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Research and Development, Technology Transfer Program (TTP), in collaboration with the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), Direct Access Program (DAP), invites you to a virtual business opportunity session.

This session is designed for small businesses and entrepreneurs interested in commercializing healthcare technology developed by VA researchers and clinicians.

VA’s Technology Transfer Program, through its partnership with TechLink represents the point of engagement for companies seeking to further develop and then bring to market novel VA technologies. Such technologies available for licensing or co-development span the healthcare spectrum from simple aids for daily living, patient mobility devices, prosthetics, diagnostics, implanted devices, and pharmaceutical candidates. About the Technology Transfer Program

VA’s Technology Transfer Program (TTP) manages the capture, protection, and commercialization of VA intellectual property, fulfilling VA’s statutory obligation to ensure the full use of the nation’s investment in VA R&D. A primary function of TTP is to engage with companies and entrepreneurs who can license VA owned patents underlying new medical technologies, take those technologies through regulatory clearance and bring them to market to the benefit of veterans and the broader public.
