National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. 2nd Quarterly Office of Construction and Facilities Management One-on-One Meetings (Virtual Networking Session)

In response to the Veteran-Owned Small Business and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business community\'s request to have business networking dialogue with a senior leader in the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction Office (OALC), the Department made available a series of quarterly events with Mr. Zebulon Fox, Director, Office of Facilities Acquisition, Office of Construction and Facilities Management for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Due to the recent health alert the second CFM One-on-One Meetings will be conducted virtually. Once you register and have been confirmed for a session you will receive a virtual meeting invite. The second event will take place on May 19, 2020, virtually.

The cost is free to attend. One representative per firm will be permitted to attend this event.

These events consist of (13) 20-minute one-on-one virtual meetings during which Mr. Fox can answer OALC-related questions. Once your registration is confirmed to attend the scheduled meeting, you will need to upload no more than three (3) questions you intend to ask him no later than Monday, May 11, 2020. Please include your bio in the registration details and upload your photo and capability statement at the end of the registration process.

Zebulon P. Fox, DBA is the (Acting) Associate Executive Director of Office of Facilities Acquisition in the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM). Through construction projects greater than $20 million and real property acquisitions, CFM delivers to Veterans, high quality buildings, additions, large scale renovations, structural enhancements, land acquisitions, and long-term lease facilities. In his current position, Dr. Fox leads a Contracting Activity portfolio of over $1.4B in acquisitions supporting CFM’s mission to advance VA’s mission in support of our Nation’s Veterans by planning, designing, constructing and acquiring major facilities, and setting design and construction standards. He joined VA in 2009 as a Contracts Specialist Acquisition Fellow at VA Acquisition Academy as a contracting intern. He earned a Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) level III. He has served in the U.S. Army Reserves for over 20 years. Dr. Fox completed his Doctorate of Business Administration from Walden University in 2019. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
