Event Overview

Entrepreneurs across America are launching at a record pace, yet many unknowingly spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on unnecessary formation services. This training webinar will highlight how business owners can avoid third-party filing companies and instead use fast, secure, and straightforward state and federal systems at little or no cost. Attendees will leave empowered with practical knowledge, clear next steps, and confidence to launch their businesses directly while keeping more of their startup capital where it belongs, in your business.

Why Attend?

At the end of this training, attendees will learn how to:

  • File an LLC through the Secretary of State
  • Obtain a free EIN from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
  • Open a business bank account without paying “formation specialists”
  • Gain insight into a robust network of no-cost support available to business owners nationwide, including VBOC, SBDC, Women’s Business Center, APEX Accelerators, and local economic development partners

Who Should Attend?

We welcome participation from:

  • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB)
  • Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB)

All other small business socioeconomic classifications are encouraged to attend.
